We are trying to implement something like,
In a Organization a user can be part of multiple roles like
User X can be a SBU Head as well as project manager etc.
As there is a procedure like, First we create RLS in Desktop for every roles and when we login in to power bi, we add perticular user into that role using SECURITY option.
According to the role and the data accessible by that user he can view that specific dashboard.
Here when User login into power bi as a project manager, usually we manually select the role and accoring to that role dashboard changes
Q1) Is there any automated way to choose the roles.
Q2) Within one dashboard is there anyway to disable and enable the tiles.
Q3) Can we change our dashboard view according to the network that user is using.
Like,
If X user is within his organization he can view complete dashboard, but if he is in other organization or other network(public) then data accessible and dashboard view must be decrease as he is in public network.
Q4) We can see publish to web option only when we create that dashboard using CSV files, but we can not see the option for Excel files.Is there any other way to publish to web those dashboards created by excel and other files.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
